About
Joshua Luss, is a Northern Virginia native. He matriculated through Virginia Commonwealth University for both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2016. Joshua spent a few years in the workforce learning, sales, security enforcement, and administrative duties for a law firm. However, Joshua was still deeply fascinated with how society governed itself and why some people were treated more equal than others, thus, Joshua decided to enroll into law school at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law.
During that time, he interned and clinic-ed with multiple law firms, ranging from criminal law, civil, immigration, in-house counsel, and tax policy. Upon graduation and passing the Virginia Bar Exam, Joshua worked some years as a prosecutor in the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office in a small county. That experience allowed Joshua to be a part of a vast array of criminal cases from misdemeanors to felonies.
If you asked him what his favorite cases were, he would tell you DUIs. Regardless of the case, Joshua would do his best to advocate on behalf of the victim(s) and the community. After his time prosecuting, Joshua moved home to Northern Virginia to advocate for his community as a defense attorney.
